PhoneGap is a framework for open-source supporting hybrid apps that operate on many mobile platforms like Android, iOS, Blackberry, Windows Phone. A container that links the native APIs to a web view is provided by the Framework. The application that is built using PhoneGap is hybrid because UI is generated from mobile platforms via Web Views and native platform resources are accessed via FFI (Foreign Function Interface).
Several mobile application platforms, including ViziApps, Worklight, Convertigo, and AppMobi, employ the Phonegap framework as the foundation of their mobile client development engine.
Our programmers now leverage a single code base for different mobile platforms and build apps with sophisticated native features using PhoneGap, a mobile development open-source framework created by Nitobi and acquired by Adobe Systems.
